Baptism. Easter Egg with an Image of the All-Holy Our Lady of Vladimir

This Easter egg depicts one of the most revered icons of the Russian Orthodox Church: Our Lady of Vladimir. The Mother of God of «Tender Feeling»» conveys the full tenderness of Mother and Child, in which the Mother and Child are pressed cheek to cheek. The reverse side of the piece is dedicated to the great Christian holiday of the Epiphany in Jordan when the Holy Spirit descended in the form of a dove to Christ and a voice from Heaven declared, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased”
