Beneficial Vine cross

This is a work of symbolic imagery. The eight-ended Orthodox cross embodies the mystical and spiritual gift of Christianity. The grapevine symbolizes the holy sacrament, or the Eucharist, which is the beneficent communion of the spirit with a higher power and eternal life. The image of the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove crowns the cross. The three distinct elements of this work hang freely from the buttonhole, creating a certain energy and complex imagery.
