Cross with Grapevines

The filigree-work texture of the wood entwined with grape vines on this cross symbolically reflects the unity of the believer with Christ in their reaping the fruits of love and faith. The bunches of grapes and leaves on the cross and the decorative leaf emblem hanging-loop have been crafted with meticulous attention to detail. On the reverse are the words ‘Save and Protect’ in miniature Old Church Slavonic script.
