Intercession cross with lily-petal arms

This is a decorative cross with an outline in the shape of lily petals. The crucifix and the Instruments of the Holy Passion (the spear and the staff) on this miniature piece are set within a broad frame. The iconographic image of the Intercession of the Theotokos is exalted in the light of the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove on the reverse of the piece.
