Star of Bethlehem

This miniature medallion from Vladimir Mikhailov’s Christmas collection is in the form of the Star of Bethlehem, which is praised at Christmas. In the centre of the medallion is the sacred image of the Holy Family, in which Mary and Joseph lean over the Infant Jesus. On the reverse of the medallion are lines from the Christmas Troparion.
