The Nativity icon “The Adoration of the Shepherds and the Magi of the Newborn Baby Jesus” is made according to one of the most ancient icon-painting canons. The miraculous events are recounted by the image of the angelic host above the Holy Virgin and the Infant Christ in the manger. The shepherds and magi gather around and, at the bottom, the Bathing of the infant Christ and Joseph”s Doubt are depicted.
